HOW THE COUNT WORKS

The number on the wall is approved placards — not visits, not clicks, not raw submissions.

• Every placard is reviewed by a human moderator before it counts. Nothing appears on the wall unreviewed, and nothing is counted automatically.
• Submissions are limited to three per hour per network address — the address itself is never stored, only a salted, irreversible hash of it.
• Identical images are flagged to moderators as duplicates before approval; a repeat of the same picture does not quietly raise the number.
• Deleted and removed placards leave the wall and leave the count.

We publish this so the number can be checked, questioned, and trusted. It will always be smaller than the raw traffic — that is the point.
